The Emphasis SSML tag helps adjust the weightage of a particular word or sentence. If you want to highlight a specific word or sentence in your text, the Emphasis tag helps make that part stand out in the generated speech.
Adjusting the Emphasis for a sentence
Step 1: Enter your text in the editor and select your preferred voice.
Step 2: Select the word or sentence where you want to apply Emphasis.
Step 3: Click on the Emphasis dropdown from the top bar and select the emphasis level you want to apply.
- Strong Emphasis helps bring more attention to the selected text, whereas
- Reduced Emphasis makes it sound softer or less prominent.
This will apply the Emphasis SSML tag to the selected text.
Step 3: Click Convert to Speech to generate the audio.
